Dr. Alexandra Symans was born and raised in Patton, Pennsylvania. After high school, Alex majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2014. She received her DMD from Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2018.
Dr. Symans believes the mouth is the gateway to the body, and strives to improve the overall health of her patients by improving their oral health. She finds the dental field extremely rewarding, especially seeing the effect that a restored smile can bring to her patients’ confidence and well-being. When not thinking about teeth, Dr. Symans enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris and her son, Josh. She also finds plenty of time for her rescue dog, Cooper. Cooper likes to take Dr. Symans out for runs, in between getting treats and belly rubs, of course. Alex and her family like to stay active with hiking and boating around Canandaigua Lake, and they are grateful to be a part of our beautiful community here in Naples.
