Dr. Wayne Chanler is a graduate of Washington University School of Dental Medicine. He served in the Public Health Service, a branch of the US Navy, for 2 years as a Captain. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Dental Society of the State of New York, the 7th District Dental Society and the Ontario County Dental Society. He served as Secretary of the 7th District Dental Society for 7 years, as well as their EDPAC chairman.

Dr. Alexandra Symans was born and raised in Patton, Pennsylvania. After high school, Alex majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at theUniversity of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2014. She received her DMD from Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2018.

Teri grew up in rural PA and now resides in the cute, little town of Hammondsport, NY. She is the proud mother of 2 grown children and 3 wonderful grandchildren. Teri started her dental career in 1979. Realizing her love for her chosen career in dentistry, she decided to get her certification for radiographs and then obtain her licensing and become a CDA.

My husband, Kyle, and I bought an old fixer-upper house in Wayland that we have been working on for over a decade. We have 2 amazing little kids who make us want to be the best version of us. Family days are spent together on hikes, boating and watching my husband compete in his race car.

Anastasia has been working with Dr. Chanler since 2010. She enjoys working with him because of his sense of humor. While he maintains his professionalism; his attention to detail with his skilled dentistry is evident with each and every patient. She is a NYS licensed dental assistant with 5 years previous experience as an orthodontic assistant.

Karen was a NYS Board Certified Dental Hygienist with over 15 years experience in the dental field. She is a graduate of Monroe Community College with her AAS degree in Dental Hygiene where upon graduation, she was awarded the Marsha Jane Mulder Memorial Award for clinical recognition of her “total patient care” as a student.

Jill has been in the dental field for 23 years. She loves helping patients with their dental needs and working as a team to make their experience a positive one. To Jill, knowing shes has made a patient smile is rewarding. In her downtime she enjoys being with her daughter who loves horses and her son who loves soccer.

Bridgett is happily married to a wonderful man and lives in beautiful Prattsburg, NY. They have five children between them.  Three grown with families of their own and two still in school.  They now very much enjoy being grandparents as well.  Bridgett has been in the dental field for over 14 years with knowledge in many areas of dental.

Jennifer joined our dental team in 2018 after being in the medical field for over 20 years. She was ready for a change and we were very lucky she found us to start her second career. Jennifer loves her new challenge of acquiring dental health knowledge, seeking answers to a numerous amount of questions from patients and efficiently managing the front desk.

Alyssa has been through a lot of exhilarating and exhausting changes in the last year.  She became a dental assistant at Naples Valley dental, got married, bought a new home (right here in Naples, NY) and welcomed a new puppy (Dexter) into her life.  Alyssa likes to spend her free time outdoors riding her four wheeler or hanging out at a bonfire with family and friends.

Allyson joined our team at Naples Valley Dental in March of 2021. She came to us withno experience in the dental field but advanced very quickly to become a knowledgeable and dependable dentalassistant. Ally also works at a local restaurant as a host/waitress as she likes to stay busy. In the spare timeshe has left, she loves to hike with her dog Buster, Ski, hang out on the local lakes and spend time withher friends and family.

Sydney was born in Colorado and moved to Rochester, NY when she was 6 years old. She was raised in Brighton and lived there until after her high school graduation. She studied commercial art in college and also obtained her cosmetology license before stumbling into the dental field. It was here that she decided to make a career in dental as she loves knowing she can make a difference in someone's life by enabling them to get the dental care they need.

Thankfully in her journey, she found Naples Valley Dental. We have been so blessed to have her join our little dental family. Dani went to GCC in Dansville, NY and majored in Early Childhood Education with a minor in History.
